Analysis via qPCR (quantitative polymerase chain reaction) is extremely sensitive and can be utilized for detection of target DNA/RNA sequences from various sources. Aapplications range from transcript quantification to genomic virus titer determination (AAV, lentivirus, etc.). Quantification of virus titers is an essential tool for gene therapy applications e.g., when it comes to up-scaling AAV production process.
