Cell culture media and feeds

Xell offers a range of chemically defined, high performance off-the-shelf cell culture media and feeds for various applications and cell lines, including CHO, HEK, BHK, MDXK, hybridoma and others.

CHO cell lines are the most prevalent mammalian expression system in the biopharmaceutical industry. Based on diverse host and production clones, Xell has developed a CHO cell culture medium and feed platform that supports highly efficient protein expression. Human cell lines play a key role in transient protein expression, viral vector and vaccine production. For these applications, Xell provides HEK TF, tailored to support transfection and efficient suspension cultivation, whereas HEK GM or HEK FS further boost production. Xell’s HEK cell culture media and feeds are developed for long-term, high performance suspension culture. They can be used in research or in manufacturing applications.

Defined monoclonality within no time

AXYTE cells + medium provides an accelerated pathway to the clinic and offers further savings in time to market with a shortened timeline for cell line development. The use of a rational selection strategy in semi solid phase growth allows for true clonal isolation from the start. Semi-solid phase tracking of the clones during the selection phase will assist with regulatory compliance. Using Xell’s media during cell line development makes further adaptation obsolete.

Greater diversity during selection

AXYTE cells + medium utilizes a process that harnesses CHO plasticity. This leads to easier selection of clones with favorable quality attributes.
